Acceptable Use Policy

Your access to and use of LE LABORATOIRE BY SKINSOFT Offerings (including Software, Cloud Services and Benefits) is subject to compliance with the rules set forth in this Acceptable Use Policy, which LE LABORATOIRE BY SKINSOFT may update from time to time. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined below shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms and Conditions. 

You agree not to: 

  1. Upload, post or communicate any information or materials that are or may be: 
    • false, libelous, defamatory, fraudulent, illegal or tortious; 
    • threatening, harassing, degrading, hateful or intimidating, or disrespectful of the rights and dignity of others; 
    • obscene, indecent, pornographic or dubious; 
    • related to minors or harmful to minors in any way; 
    • protected by copyright, trademark, design right, industrial property right, trade secret right, right of publicity or right of privacy, or any other proprietary right, without the prior written consent of the relevant owner; 
    • a national or state secret, classified or unclassified controlled information, controlled export information or any other information or material (including photographs, drawings, plans or models) subject to official confidential treatment; 
    • secret codes, countersignatures, passwords, cryptocurrencies or similar information; 
    • advertising, junk mail, offers to sell or buy goods or services, “chain letters” or any other form of solicitation; 
    • any malicious software (such as a virus, worm, Trojan horse, Easter egg, or spyware) or any other computer code, files or programs that could potentially damage, harm, or seek to damage or take over the operation of, restrict the use of, or spy on the use of any hardware, software or equipment. 
  2. Remove copyright, trademark, confidentiality or other proprietary rights from any Offerings, Documentation or related materials; 
  3. Remove, disable or limit the effectiveness of any technical protection, including those implemented by LE LABORATOIRE BY SKINSOFT, to (i) manage, monitor, control or analyze the installation of any Offerings, its access or use or, (ii) to protect the intellectual property rights of LE LABORATOIRE BY SKINSOFT; 
  4. Use any Offers in a fraudulent, illegal or tortious manner, or for any fraudulent, illegal or tortious purpose or effect; 
  5. Impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your affiliation (or your company’s affiliation) with any person or entity in connection with the use of any Offerings; 
  6. Use Offers to promote or provide information relating to illegal activities, promote physical harm or acts of violence against any group or individual, promote any act of cruelty; 
  7. Use Offerings in connection with inherently hazardous uses, including any product, part, service or application, which may result in death, personal injury, extensive damage or mass destruction; 
  8. Use any Offerings or related Data obtained in connection with training a machine learning system or artificial intelligence algorithm, software or system; 
  9. Attempt to analyze, scan or test the vulnerabilities of any Offerings, attempt to penetrate or circumvent any security or authentication measures used by the Offerings; 
  10. Interfere with or impair the operation of any Offerings or the servers and networks used to make them available, including by taking control of or materially modifying any part of the Offerings; 
  11. Use Offerings as a storage solution for “remote loads” or as a “gateway” or “pointer” to other web pages or online resources, inside or outside the sites providing the Offerings; 
  12. Collect content or information from or through an Offering by automated means (such as robots, web spiders, site search/retrieval applications or any other device designed to retrieve, index, “crawl” or “mine” data); 
  13. Collect or store personal data on any person or entity, from or with an Offer, without having the required rights to do so; 
  14. Disassemble the components of an Offer and use them separately or in other electronic devices (unless expressly agreed in writing by LE LABORATOIRE BY SKINSOFT); 
  15. Use or access Software made available as part of a Cloud Service, separately from the applicable Cloud Service (unless expressly agreed in writing by LE LABORATOIRE BY SKINSOFT); 
  16. Intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international laws, including but not limited to applicable export control laws and regulations; 
  17. Fail to comply with the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions, the Special Terms and Conditions or any applicable order form or User License Agreement.
